EWOW- Reconstructing Beauty
Most of you know I love art. Well it has seemed that circumstances have allowed and encouraged me to not give this up. About a month ago I was back to my hometown and saw they were having a Fall Fest and Arts and Craft vendors were wanted. I thought this would be a fun thing to try out, well within that following week I met a new friend Jenni, who is an artist. She said she would want to set up a booth with me. This got the ball rolling. It has been so fun and refreshing to work on paintings, mixed-media, jewelry and a few other things. There is a greater purpose behind it too. Check out my new blog to read about it! http://reconstructingbeauty.blogspot.com/

3 months!
So I started this post last week, just never posted it! So he's actually 2 weeks past 3 months! Anyway here it is...........
I use this blog not only to share about life with friends and especially the grandparents, but also I print them off to put in Zanders baby book. Like a journal, sorta-kindaish.
Zander is now 3 months old! I was just talking to Andy on our date last night, how my love for Zander has been changing. When I laid eye's on him for the first time. I was in complete amazement of God's miraculous design (process of being pregnant, birth process, and now a little baby! AHHHHH, it seriously blows my mind thinking of this. It is so hard for me to relate to people who think we are here by chance. That we weren't created by The Creator? I truly believe we were created by God, for God. I trust that God has big plans for our Zander man!
Because already he's doing some pretty cool and fun things :)
I caught him with Chelsey here:
Batting at toys. Grabbing sometimes.
Holding his head really good.
Drooling A LOT!
Going on road trips! Here we went to Peoria last weekend to visit Uncle Al and Aunt Jenn.
Lots of talking. Have you seen the movie "Look who's talking" I'm sure you have, but if you haven't seen it since having a baby, you must see it! It's funny to now imagine what the babies are saying to themselves when they start babbling!
Lovin' on Grandparents and Great Grandma!

Honestly he's pretty lazy! Usually he just kinda sits around! Not much movement! In this video, he's moving pretty good. (Don't pay attention to the dork mom!) But thought it would be fun for you to see a little real action!
Some other tid-bits:
- Not sleeping in car seat anymore. if he's really tired and we are in car he will. But not like he used to!
- usually needs to be rocked before taking naps
- we still swaddle him
- has better days when they are consistent (as far as naps and feeding go)
- loves to cuddle! Doesn't matter with who, he's a lover boy!
- doesn't use paci, but is finding thumb (or fingers, or fist)
- he has had cradle cap for past 3 weeks, I think it's finally going away
- We decided not to cut his hair. It's funny, but he has some long hairs on the top of his head it's just so thin. So get used to seeing his little patch of hair on the back of his head.
- We let him cry for a while in his pack'nplay. Usually he cries between 5-20 mins before falling asleep. If it's longer than that I go up and rock him. Put him back down. If he still cries for 20ish mins. I feed him.
- Sleeping well at night- last couple of nights 8-6ish
- Still not on a complete schedule. Patterns and routines, but everything else is very flexible. Which is nice for us right now. But soon I hope to have more of a nap and set bedtime. Little by little I guess :)
Thank you for letting me share. We love this boy so much!
